Looking for a reliable partner for machine packaging? Gejo Interpack is ready for you! With our expertise and flexible approach, we ensure flawless handling of your packaging needs, so that you can focus on growing your business.
Packaging can be done in many ways, but sealing and shrink sealing must really be done by a machine. We use different techniques for mechanical packaging.
We have sealing machines on which we seal various items with transparent foil. The sealing machine creates a loose seal around a product, as you see in magazines and advertising brochures.
A pouch can also be sealed at the top. This is usually done with a heat sealing machine, by placing the pouch on a conveyor belt with the top between 2 hot ribbons. We also have hand sealers for specific projects.
With many products it is nice if the plastic is completely tight around them. It first receives a seal from the sealing machine and then the product runs through the shrink tunnel, an oven with an average temperature of 180 degrees. We have shrink tunnels that we use to package all kinds of things. Tear-off calendars, containers with paint tubes, gift packaging, multiple books in 1 package, letterbox boxes with extra thick foil so that they can be mailed directly with an address carrier or narrow shrink sleeves around cans so that people cannot open them in the store.
Many products require a batch code on the packaging so that you know from which delivery it was made. Food also has a best before date. With our coding machine we can also add a short text if necessary. Items are on a conveyor belt and are automatically coded. Sometimes a code needs to be placed inside a giftpackage, then we stick a small sticker in it, anything is possible.
We recently acquired a Vitacount from 12 to 1 counting machine, which we use to fill jars of chewing gum and vitamins, among other things. The large hopper on top ensures that all 12 supply lanes are filled. Whether 30 or 300 tablets/capsules are needed, this machine makes no difference. Further on, the jars are coded, labelled and, if necessary, provided with a sticker on the cap. We can pack the jars in display boxes or in large outer boxes, depending on your preference.
